Unfortunately my friend's doctor is dragging her feet. You must have your doctor's support to take part in the Lighter Life programme and the doctor is waiting to hear from the local dietician... I was hoping we'd be able to start this coming week but it's not looking likely at this rate. All very very frustrating. I will keep you all posted when I know that we are going ahead.

This is the story of my weight loss through the Lighter Life programme, Diet Chef and The Cambridge Diet, and of my charity fundraising through sponsorship of my weight loss. I originally aimed to lose 3 stone and to raise £2000 by the end of April 2009. In the end I lost a grand total of 4 stone 4.5 lbs but raised only £375...
Very disappointing. So now I'd like to try to raise £2000 by the time I've lost my target amount, 11 stone or 154 lbs. I'm now well over halfway there, but there's still lots of time and opportunity for YOU to sponsor me. Yes, YOU! Please help me reach my target!
Many of you generously helped me with the costs of Lighter Life Foundation, 10 weeks of Development and 2 weeks of Route to Management - THANK YOU! As I moved onto firstly Diet Chef, then The Cambridge Diet, and now onto real food, there's no longer any need to donate towards the costs of my weight loss.
